Hi Agine I have a 1999 ram 1500 v6 auto,, sometimes it get stuck in low gear it wont shift i have to move the gear to 1st or 2nd a few times
to get it to shift ...please if anyone had this prom let me know how to fix it thanks.........

 

join the club mine sometimes gets stuck in second, maybe some transmission fix that you pour in might help, i dunno it says it helps with the valving but prolly not if there is something mechanically wrong

 

I haven't had that particular problem before but I would suggest starting with the basics. Check your tranny fluid, make sure it is full and see how dirty it is. I would reccomend changing the fluid and filter out and adjusting the bands. How many miles on the tranny?

 

i took it to have to oil changed thay told me it just seems like the trans. has just been done .it has 160.000 on it .
