Default 4.10s optional in '98

I was poking around under the hood of my Ram today and noticed the options sticker listed a 4.0/4.1 axle ratio (I assume front/rear). Does my truck have 4.10s already installed? If so, I can't imagine someone trying to drive this thing with stock 3.55s--what a slug! For reference, I cruise at about 2000 RPM @ 60 MPH in OD.

Also, on an totally unrelated topic, how easy is it to replace the rear seal on the transfer case? Mine has a leak that is making a mess on my driveway. I'm going to pull the driveshafts for new U-joints sometime soon anyway.

Thanks!

And my 3.9whatevers run just under 2k @ 60mph. So, 2 or slightly over 2k (assuming we have the same tire size) would be close to 4.10's

the rear seal is easy to replace. can do it right in the truck or take it off. ( i think its easier to take it off since its 4 bolts. then put it in a vise and use a hammer and screw driver to pop the old one out. then tap the new one in.
