Identify this pic, and be worshiped!
So I was doing my wires, when I pulled one off and it was tangled with a hose/tube. I broke it. It actually broke in the back of the engine, but it starts at the passenger side - coming out of the valve cover. It runs to the back along the fuel injectors where it has a "T" at the end . It is black, but white on the inside. Nothing came out, it was hollow, maybe a vaccuum hose? I started the truck, and had no service engine light or anything- it seams to run fine. What have I done!! In this pick you see the beginning, but keep in mind, where it broke, it was smaller guage, and in the back. Thanks

That is a vacuum line coming out of the side of the intake manifold. I would go to NAPA and bring a piece of the hose and replace as much as you can with a rubber hose instead of that plastic hose. THe plastics get real brittle and break very easy after a while.
So what am I looking at here? Can I just go get a new length of hose to bridge the split? Should I be driving with it like this?

you will need to fix the split... you can get some vacuum line that will fit over both ends and you should be good to go. get enough to slide about 1" up both ends if possible... you can make sure its not leaking by spraying water on it. if your engine rpms change or the tone its making changes, you still have a leak. wd40 also works.
