AEM Brute Force

RE: AEM Brute Force
NP, sorry I didn't resize 'em and kinda jacked the thread up
Overall I'm happy with it. Its probably gonna be a long while before I get some headers or any other mods done, maybe next year sometime.
If you plan on putting one in, just make sure you have a new gasket lined up to put in place where the AEM mounts to the TB. Maybe I just got screwed, but my AEM didn't come with one. But its like $2.00 at a parts store.
You also might need a few feet of hose. I'm not sure if all 2nd Gen are like this, but on my '99 the hose that attaches to the air housing comes from the other side of the engine. The hose is long enough for the stock unit, but was a foot or so short for the AEM.

RE: AEM Brute Force
Well Nascarnut, I'm glad the install went well and that you love the intake. I agree with you and I too would recommend the intake to anybody. I definitely feel a performance difference with the Brute Force. It's the second one I've purchased. The other one was on my previous truck, Toyota Tundra. It made that truck fly. Great mod and enjoy.
