strange headlight situation...
I love the truck, I have to fix my headlights in order to pass inspection. They say the aim is off, but I disagree. My passenger side is a nice crystal clear lens. It shoots a nice beam. The driver side was in a little fender bender with the previous owner, and the light was replaced with a "cloudy" one. It lights up well, but it is not shooting a beam of light- it just lights up. The question is- If I get a proffesional cleaning product, will it come crystal clean, or should I just dish out the cash for a new light. It is also hard to align the lights though cause of the accident. The aligning screws are bent etc...What a pain !
For the "cloudyness" you can use come rubbing or polishing compound. It won't work forever, but, than again, neither will a new (expensive) assembly.
