How bad was it rubbing? I had a couple of cars that I lowered in the past and when I did the ride was kinda rough, does yours ride rough after you lowered it? I like the drop on yours. Thats the kinda drop that i wanted.

Rubbed pretty bad. On a rough road it would hit the top on the front wheel well and will also rub when turning. The back would rub the lip on rough roads, so I rolled the lip a little. After changing the tires out I did also notice that it actually had hit a few times at the top of the wheel well there as well.

Damn your ride is nice! Can I put a supercharger on my 5.2?
Thanks, as far as the supercharger goes, you can add one to your 5.2
Paxton, Procharger or Vortech have a good reputation, Powerdyne does not.
Procharger have the only systems that come with an air to air intercooler and tuneable fuel management. They give the largest % of hp gained from the same level of boost as Vortech/Paxton. Powerdyne has many issues and are overpriced for the quality of their kits.

My Powerdyne has been good,,,,so far but, the product support sucks big time. I mean CHEESIE BIG TYME! I did a 2" front drop and 4" rear drop kit. It was very easy but, I stuck with the stock tire size. There has been no rubbing butm she sure is "more stiffer"...lol

ive been investigating the lowering of my truck for a couple years now, but every time i get eh cash something like a water pump or front spring lets go and it has to be shelved.

anyway, everyone ive talked to in the area says use belltech. my personal opinion is also that they are the best. unfortunately there doesnt appear to be a kit for the 2nd gens. i wouldnt suggest cheaping out and going with drop springs ont he front, definately go with drop spindles, way better. as for the back, ive been looking at hangers and shackles as i cannot find drop leaf springs anywhere for my baby.

as far as tire clearance goes, i dont know how 305 will work. my fav performance guru said he hasnt done it to a dodge with more than 285s.

a 2" drop in front and a 4" drop in the rear is what i have decided on, then throw a set of 20s on there, im thinking that will fill up the wheel wells good. i hate wheel wells.
