Default lowering guestion

Has anyone lowered their truck yet ? I wanna lower mine just enough for the fender to almost touch the wheel but not quite. Maybe 3" front and 3" rear. What company should I go with?

you should send RM_Indy a message he's done a lot of work on his truck making it into a track runner. he would probably be able to tell you a really good way to do it.

I know eibach has a few kits for it, im thinking about getting the 2.5 front and 4 in the back. If you are planing to get rims get them before you get the drop so you know exactly what its going to look like after its droped.

With that 305 tire you will have rubbing issues. At least I did with a 305/50/20, and that 305/40/22 is pretty much the same size. Oh, and my front drop is only a 2".

I have a 2" front and about a 4.5" rear drop on mine. Front is eibach springs and rear is a BellTech 4" kit with a leaf removed. I am now running a 275/45/20 tire and now I want to go even lower.

How bad was it rubbing? I had a couple of cars that I lowered in the past and when I did the ride was kinda rough, does yours ride rough after you lowered it? I like the drop on yours. Thats the kinda drop that i wanted.

I have the Belltech 2x4 drop on mine. Springs shackles and hangers with Nitro drop shocks. 3x5.5" drop with my race rubber (28" skinnies/slicks). I planned on bagging it in 07 but not sure now, almost doubled my budget for the blower/stroker setup.

Ride is firm, not harsh, handles much better with it lowered
