Default bluesmoke / oil in the intake... help!!

I have a 97 ram with a 318 it only has 109000 miles and its burnin oil fairly quick about a quart every 2 weeks (about every 1200 - 1500 miles) and puffing blue smoke at idle and start up. i read another old post that stated oil was getting in the intake and causing this problem. I checked the PCV valve is geeting plenty of section. Whats next? is this a common problem for the 318? what has to be done to fix it? thanks for the input!

pull off your TB and look at down into the intake, if you see oil pooling on the bottom, then you have a leaky plenum. a felpro gasket would be recommended to be the replacement gasket when you do the repair if it is your problem.

blue smoke at idle is usually worn rings... at startup its ususally valve guides. these motors are pretty durable, see if the plenum is leaking 1st and go from there.
