Is your weather stripping for the hood falling off?
Ok so i know this is probably a very common question but what the hell is up with the weather stripping under the hood right up by the windshield glass? mine has been falling off for, well since i got the truck. so if you know some good way to fix it share it and let us poor people that have failing weatherstripping hood sealing things know.
ok so i do know how to fix it, with some adhesive, but it was more just curious to see if it was a common problem or not.

Threw it away? [sm=badidea.gif]
You'll be throwing engine components away next. You'll have bugs, leaves and water sneaking in to your engine compartnment. I actually had a hornet nest on my alternator. Still don't have mine totally clean yet. I just used some silicon based goop from the auto store. Seems to work because the molding has a nice groove in it. I was very liberal with the stuff since it can't be seen unless you're looking for it.

you need to add another poll option,
"yes, but fixed"
i used permatex clear silicone adhesive sealant. its waterproof, and flexible. I had redone mine in april, and since then it hasn't budged.
any silicone sealant that is equivalent in qualities should do the trick.
