I have a problem and would like some help, I have a 96 Dodge ram 2500 4x4 automatic, but it will not shift down or up on its own, you can manually pull it down in 1st or 2nd and then shift it up when you need too and you are fine but as far as it doing it automatically it doesn't. I am wondering if it has a vehicle speed sensor that is going bad or do these trucks have those. You can drive it but it pulls out from a dead stop in 3rd gear/drive. PLEASE HELP!!!
