Default Ram at work/play

Figured I would post a few pictures of my truck at work/play since this forum seems to like pictures.

Pulled three loads of firewood this weekend and the truck handled the loads better than I expected. Found a few small mud puddles on the way there too. (Even after rain there is no such thing as mud in these parts)

I am figuring that the first two loads are in the 1700 pound range with the last one probably clearing the 1 ton mark as the wood was heavy.

Nice looking truck. i like the bumpers. looks like a lot of wood. stockpiling for the winter were you?

and yes the forum does really like pictures. we like to see what other people do with their trucks. mods, mud, loads, it's all good.

that last picture is pretty awesome with the scenery in the background. man wouldn't you love to drive down there (if the water wasn't very deep) and just go crazy.

They are Road Armor bumpers, but unfortunately they are not Rhino Lined. They are just painted, which unfortunately is not holding up too well in some places. I want to get them powder coated sometime in the future.. but I also am thingg about modifying the front just slightly.

Those bumpers are one of the reasons I bought the truck.

It's the tail end of Frenchman’s Reservoir in CA. The drive up there really is nice, as just before the dam you go through about three miles of canyons that have shear rock walls and small caves and rock over hangs all over.

Being a mountain reservoir, I would be too scared to get stuck in the muddy sediment by getting to close to the water. I have seen and heard too many stories about trucks and equipment getting stuck in that type of mud. Would be fun to run along some of the beaches along the edge though.
