i think the best way to go about this would be to find a 5spd 1500 2wd with a blown 5.2. then find a wrecked 5spd 2500 w/CTD 2wd. from what i gather its just a bolt in and go deal, just swap parts over. Superhawks was very expensive and needed some fab work because of the extensive off road mods he did. i dont plan on doing any of that.

on another note, when did dodge start using the 6spd trans? did one come with the 5.9 16v CTD? the idea of a six speed really appeals to me.

will it mate to a 12 valve CTD? im assuming the 6spd only came with the 24v CTD.
