got a 95 ram 1500 long bed and it quit runnin the other day. did the basic diagnostics and found that it fires on ether and isn't getting fuel. checked voltage to injectors and there workin fine but it sounds to me like a done fuel pump wounderin it yous guys have seen this before or if you have any sugestions as to what other problem it might be other than pump. and if year matters when it comes to replaceing it?? thanks.

 

the fuel pump on my 97 just went out last week, have fun with that [sm=headbang.gif].. i personally thought it was easier to take the bed off then to drop the tank

 

I am dropping the tank in my truck for the umpteenth time. If you want, I have a new/used fuel pump that I can't use on my truck. It has (maybe) 300 miles on it. Send me your old pump and I'll build you a working unit for cheaper than a new one. Send me an e-mail or a PM if you're interested.

sounds like the fuel pump is gone... 1st check the relay, swap it with the windshield wiper relay (same one) and see if that helps. you can swap all of them around as they are all the same p/n.
