Default 33' maxxis buckshots and 15' rims

im looking into buying some 33x12.5x15 maxxis buckshots, on 15x10 eagle 589 rims. I have a few questions about this.
first off, i have a 2000 1500 with the off road package.
Will the 15 inch rims fit on my truck?
Will i rub at all with the 33s? (i will be putting on the top gun 2' coil spacer before the tires go on)
Is there any thing special i should look at when buying used rims/tires?
What do you all think about the maxxis buckshot mudders? Do they wear well, are they loud on pavement, etc?

Quick responses would be appreciated so i can make a decision before they are sold. thanks for your alls help

Don't know abou the clearance, but I had a pair and they are very noisy and they didn't wear the best ,but all I did
was burn them off.[sm=gears.gif] They grab really good in snow and mud thats a plus . If the price is right go for it[sm=smiley20.gif]

well i got the off road package to the only way that you will be able to get the 15" rims on is if you buy the steel wheels and not aluminum

if you do buy aluminum wheels you will have to grind the caliper a little to get them to fit

i got 15" steel wheels on mine but i have a buddy with the aluminum on his and he had to grind his calipers a little but not much at all

as for the 33s they will fit if not you can put a leveling kit on and they will leveling kits are cheap and easy or you could put on a 3" body another cheap lift and clear 35s

The old Buckshots I ran in the past were pretty loud. I didn't even know they still made them. I hadn't seen any around here for years. 15 -20 years ago it was either Buckshots or Ground Hogs around here. Both were excellent in the mud, but weren't known for long wear on the road. The new ones I have on my 2500 gasser are actually very quiet, technology being what it is. I haven't had a chance to really use them off road yet, but they were always my first choice. And i got a set of 315/75 16's mounted for right at $604. Not bad.
