for some reason recently I remember right when i got my truck i THINK my cruise control buttons on the steering wheel lit up..and now they dont.. was wondering if someone can confirm this to eliminate the possibility of me loosing my damn mind..... mine are not lit up but for some reason i remember them being green when i turned the lights on .. well the lettering was lit up atleast.

and yes im still alive if anyone was wondering.. got a new job and working 40+ hrs a week PLUS going to school full time is seriouls WOOPING my ***..

 

On my 2000 Ram they are not lit up. I have had the truck for 3 years and they never have since I have had it. I will look in the owners manual though and see if it says anything in there about it.

nope ine have never lit up on my 98 ither....working full time and school sounds like fun lol

 

yeah no lights here either a real pain in the *** when your on the highway at night, have to turn on the overhead light to see

 

'01, no lights. Since I live on cruise control have no problem with buttons.
Left upper "On/Off"-lights up "CRUISE" on the bottom half of the digital odometer so you know it's on.
Left lower "SET"
Right upper "Accel Up"
Right lower "Accel Down'
Right center "Cancel"

Once you have it memorized it's easy.

Shott, I feel your pain. Can remember working 3 jobs, 7 days a week while taking a 2 year plus summer course at a local JC with classes 7:30 to 2:30, 5 days a week. 2-3 hours of sleep a night for 2+ years was no fun, but it will end.

On my 1997, the On/Off button lights, but the others, AFIK, do not.

 

yes dude your loosing your mind. i stoll the lights out of yours while you were sleeping my on/off lights up but thats it.
