Default Has anyone dealt with Phoenix Remanufactured Transmissions?

My buddy stumbled across this website as he is looking for a transmission for his Dodge truck. He's looking at spending around $1000 to rebuild his unit. The trouble is the downtime of a week to two weeks is a major issue for him.

He found this company: http://www.phoenixhardparts.com/

Has anyone dealt with these guys before? If so what was your experience. It seems that they back their product 100% by the warranties. The basic warranty covers the tranny aside from the normal wearable parts. The Platinum is an additional $175 for the first year and covers everything including $30/hr labor to pull the tranny, all shipping costs back to them for repair, shipping back to you upon completion and $30/hr labor to reinstall.

I am curious to hear if anyone has had an dealings with these people.

Please use the vendors correct name in your title as it can cause confusion.

The vendor you are inquiring about is Phoenix Remanufactured Transmissions / Phoenix Hard parts from Phoenix Arizona. http://www.phoenixhardparts.com/

There is a different vendor "Phoenix Transmission" from Weatherford Texas also. http://www.phoenixtransmission.com/index.html

I have dealt with the "Phoenix Transmission" from Texas, but not the one from Phoenix Arizona.
