Default Air Bag suspension brackets

Has anyone else had them break off the frame, causing a crack? I drove that truck today, and that is what seems to have happened. I am trying to determine what may have caused it.

Also, if any of you have had them break, did you replace it, or just weld it back together?

Where the bracket crosses the frame is where it was broken, plus the crack in the frame. My buddy who is selling the truck things that the original owner was pulling something on the drivers side of the truck, putting too much stress, but I don't think that would cause something like that. I'll try and get a picture Monday. Either way, a little bit of welding, and I think the bracket and the frame will be fine.

yah pics would help a lot...if the frame is cracked youll half to weld it. if its a vetical crack you should fish plate too horizonal you should be ok....of cource the BEST fix would be replacing the bracket however its all a matter of how much you want to spend, and how good of welder you are.... and if your like shott whos roling in the dough buying new welders and all...
