Default 50mm or 52mm Throttle Body?

I am getting ready to purchase a new throttle body. Now the question is do I go with a 50mm or 52mm? My truck has the modded intake, 1.7 hardland sharps and headers, cat, flows.

For the most part it is just street driven. Occasionally I will tow a car, boat, snowmobiles, jetskis. Probably once a month I have something on the back of the truck.

It has the 360 in it.

What do you all think? 50mm or 52mm?

I already voted, but with the intake, the 1.7 HS, and exhaust, using a 50mm in my opinion would restrict the motor too much...You should be generating enough power that your once a month towing doesn't justify getting the smaller of the two.

Fastman recommends a 52mm with the 360. Be good with the mods you have too.

But if you review their website they suggest the 50mm for towing applications, but I still stick with my previous comments about getting the 52mm...The best option for you.

97RamSport, I tow with my truck as well, but Dan told me since I only tow occassionally to go with the 52mm. I did and was not disapointed. I towed the trailer to the ranch this last weekend and it pulled fine. Also got 12.5 mpg at 65 with the OD off. How does your truck tow with the moded intake? I really want to do mine but don't want to mess up it's towing ability. Other than the 52mm TB and dual exhaust the engine is stock. Jeff.

What about a 53mm throttle body? I have seen these for sale. Would that be a viable option?
