Silver_dodge,
I just finished the same changeover and it is unbelievable how much room the round air cleaner gives you under the hood. Between the old school look and the ability to see the engine this is just a great thing to do. That and now my engine gets all the air it can possibly use.

The throttle body spacer, if it did anything at all for these engines which it does not, only fits under the throttle body so your drop AC would still hit on the linkage and such. I just installed my Mopar Performance AC and there is barely enough room to get it in as is. No way a 1 inch spacer would fit anyway.

So I read some of you put some kind of gasket in between the air hat and the Throttle Body. Does it look like I need one of those, and where could I get one?

This is what it looks like now

The only gasket goes on the TB right were the air cleaner sits on the TB.

Do you still have the stocker gasket?

no you dont need one, you only need one if you have a flat or raised filter base, which you have a lowered, as far as where you get one a gasket, the stock air houseing has one, but if your like me its broken because its cardboard, so when i cleaned my throttle body i just put back clear silicone caulk, i know its wrong but im getting rid of it in a few weeks anyway.

That's all you need, I'd think you could get another one at the parts store.

Aright, just making sure. I mean the thing is down against the TB pretty tight anyway. Just want to be on the safe side.
