just for future reference, in a ram when the battery dies, the computer messes up and it doesnt know how ti idle, you just gotta keep cranking it till it turns over then keep on the gas and drive down your road. works for me.

 

try disconnection your battery for about 10 mins, and try again.

 

Do you know if your truck has some type of after market or dealer installed security system ?? Some of these are a real pain once they lose power.
