Pretty sure the VEHICLE is covered ... not the owner. What's your mileage?

Whatever you do don't get taken advantage of by the dealer. I hate when people come on here saying they had to pay $1300 for something I could have fixed myself/for them for $200.

LEMON LAW, bring it to them and leave it there until they repair it.

etween the extra warranty and the lemon law you should be covered. My 01, which I bought new in June 2001 only had a 3 year 36000 mile drivetrain warranty. My wife's caravan, which we bought new in April 02 has the 5 year 70,000 mile warranty.

Generally, lemon laws cover NEW vehicle purchases. However ... MA has two separate laws covering used vehicle purchases (thank you People's Court).

Look here: http://www.massbar.org/lawhelp/legal...27&full_id=185 and here: http://www.ago.state.ma.us/sp.cfm?pageid=1173

Looks like you have a built in warranty for 60 days or 2500 miles (if you bought it from a dealer). Private sales are covered under MA's "Lemon Aid" law.
