Default Opinions on hood scoops

I am looking to purchase a set of hood scoops for my 1999 Dodge Ram. The two I am looking at are the Lund Eclipse and the Driver Design. In your opinions/experience, shich one would be the better brand of the two:

Here are links to both sets of scoops:

Since the title of this thread is "opinions on hood scoops", here is mine. Please don't be offended, this is just my opinion.

They are cheesy and poser. If you want the look of hood scoop, it should at least be functional too. Anything else is just fake and reminds me of the crap you see ricers doing on their little import cars. This is just my opinion. I know some people like the aesthetics of hood scoops, and that is ok too I guess.

I put mods in this order:
1) Be functional and look good
2) Be functional even if it doesn't look great
3) Look good, but no functionality.

Again, just my opinion. Take it with a grain.
