Default Power loss

I've had my 96 v10 for over a year now and for some reason it is not putting out the power that everone talks about. I can't even roast 33's any more. I have gibson headers, Trans-Dapt TB space, and a K&N intake, no cats and a dynomax dual split rear. It seems that truck is not putting out anywhere close to what the stock specs are. its slow off the start then picks up then a dead spot around 3000 and then picks up agian at 3200 then at full open throttle looses power until i back off a bit. I dont know what the problem is and i can't figure it out. Anyone have any ideas what i could be?

Run some engine cleaner through it. Marel Mystery Oil is great and get some SeaFoam or Mopar Combustion Chamber Cleaner.

Socha_62 posted a link above on how the spacer doesn't benefit newer vehicles where the fuel is injected directly into the cylinders.

It may actually hurt performance as it's disturbing the air flow. It helps mix the fuel and air better in older carburated vehicles and ones with throttle body injection, but since the fuel is added after the throttle body in our Rams, all it's doing is interfering with the air path.

i had a spacer and it didnt hurt my performance but it also didnt help. headers will make you lose a little on your low end, making it harder to roast tires. have you purchased your tires recently? the bigger the tire the harder to roast. even if you had some worn down 33's and replaced them with new ones, it'll slow you down a little.
1 if i were you i would check your o2 sensors
2 ur ignition (plugs, wires and cap and rotor) wouldnt be a bad idea to look at either
3 and im not too sure but maybe your TPS. the voltage should be about .7 - .75 if i remember right. that would give you better throttle response.
4 and while your there with your throttle body, take it off and give it a good cleaning

are you losing any oil?
