Duel batteries would be the way to do, I wish I had them. I have a 136amp alt right now and it does more then enough for me. A 205 from a CTD would be perfect for a duel battery setup, since the CTDs came with duel batteries anyways ha

I thought CTD's were singal battery 12 volt.. either way. a 205 running dual batteries would be easiest then adding an aux alt. but would take some work and a bunch of trial and error. would be a cool project tho .. if i end up going dual alts.. like 2 136's .. i would find two underdrive pullys for them since id be having to get a different length belt anyway.. i could run my house off my truck..

well not really.. but its a cool thought

HI i'm looking to buy a spare alternator as a precautionand was wondering if it has been confirmed that the grandcherokee alternator can bolt into a 2001 5.9 3500 i can take care of the wiring just hoping the mechanical is the same.
