I have to make my truck quieter [&o]. I am in college and still live at home and my mother finally got fed up with the 10 series. So, i still have a 40 series delta (old muffler) and was thinking of putting that on with a cutout right before it. Instead of spending more money on a quieter muffler, do you think i can make enough curves with exhaust pipe and then dump it to make it quiet enough? And can someone direct me to a cheap 2 1/2in cutout.

just get a cheepo turbo II muffler, $25, and a cutout.
