Default Super X 318

When I first bought my 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4, I immediately installed a stage 2 powerchip, Gibson Headers, Catback exhaust (+ junked the cat), TB spacer, K&N intake system, MSD6 ignition, MSD Coil, MSD wires. It was all bolt on HP, with some 33 Pro Comp Mud Terrain tires, she was one of the fastest trucks in LA. As time went buy she was wearing down and other trucks were getting faster, she become a slow poke. I said to myself " the day the engine dies, I will build me a Hot Rod motor and be the fastest once agin". Ladies and Gentlemen here is my X 318 and my new 323 Hot Rod 4X4. The crankshaft has been lighten and shotpeen, the connecting rods have been lighten and shotpeen. The block has been line honed and decked, Keith Black Hyperutectic pistons .030 over, high volume oil pump, polished high volume water pump. Polished Mopar Magnum valve covers. Extreme Comp Cam, Edelbock Performance and polished Aluminum Heads, 1.7 Crowler roller rockers, external fins welded on oil pan for additional cooling. Candy Apple Red powder coating. 166K stall torque converter. She is 95% complete. Tell me what you think.

That is sweet, but ya, ditch the TB spacer. The candy apple paint looks awesome, but is gonna be a bitch to keep clean.

OK now I understand the TB spacer. It is not paint, it is Candy Apple Red powder coating. Looks good huh, I hope it runs as good as it looks.
