Default Ram/Dakota Question

I really have no clue why the ram is only five lug and the dakota is 6 lug. Does anyone really now because im sick of people asking me. figure it should be the other way around. Thanks

I really don't know. Rams used to have 6 lug. At least my 82 Ram D50 did.

Is it really for rims, because they wanted more option. someone in the company needs to be slapped. not for carrying weight or anything like that. Thanks guys if anyone has any other reasons please let me know
