Im going to replace my plenum, should I make it out of 3/16 or 1/4 inch aluminum? After completion, im going to mirror polish it, would this help in performance?

 

hughes plenum kit comes with a 1/4 aluminum pan. not an expert but i cant imagine that polishing it can help that much with performance but make sure that where the gasket is going to sit is nice and smooth. I wouldnt reuse the bolts either
