you would want to move the shield back about 1/2 inch so the flange does not pop off the tube. get your setup working 1st and enjoy it. once you decide if you want more top end or not, then look at this filter

i just kinda bent the brakets and my 6X9 fit .. nice mod to an already good mod to do.. damn thing pulls hard sompin feirce in the high end.. dont expect great fuel mileage gains from the FIPK,,, mainly b/c you wont be able to keep your foot out of it.. unless you jam a 2X4 under your pedal..and everyone knows how NOT fun that is

It arrived by FedEX today and it looks beautiful laying on the garage floor. However, reading the directions I can see it will take awhile before putting it in. I am so happy to have it, know it will help performance, but I can't afford to make a mistake and have the Ram down. Thanks to all for the great support.
