Default new project. truck heater!!!

well my truck already has a block heater on it. it helps it start and get warmer quicker but still not quick enough for me. so i have this heater we used to have on our boat. its made to be in small cabins so i figure in a truck should be no different. puts out a good amount of heat and has settings and a thermastat on it. i think im gunna mount it under my drivers seat and then run a wire under the dash. where there will be a timer under the panel. then a cord out to the front of my truck were the block heater is. then i just have to plug in the 2 cords and when i come out my truck will be nice and warm. what you guys think? open to idea's or suggestion heres the pic of the heater

How many amps for the heater plus the block heater? Just see if your house circuit can handle that load. Sound like a good idea though

I think that he is going to plug them into an outlet, not run them off the truck.
