I have looked at 2 in my area and have 3 more to look at. I noticed the sticker on door post does not list the 17 inch tires. What was the off road tire size that was origonal? What were the options added by the off road package?

 

I believe the options were: Raised HD suspension, Front Recovery Tow Hooks, Skid Plates, and "Off Road" decals.

mine came with 275/70/17 tires and alloy rims

 

The 2 off road I looked at had 17" wheels, one with 285x75-17 the other one had 245x70-17. I'm wondering which one is origonal size?
The other non off road models I looked at had 16 wheels.

Curious what kind of prices you're seeing on the 01's. Are they dealers or private? How many miles?

 

I bought an 01 last year with just over 60000 miles on it. I payed 13,500 for it. It seems to have alot of options on it. It's black with black leather interior. It is a sport model and also built in canada so it has the daytime driving lights. Bought it from a GMC dealer. Found out later the transfer case had no oil in it. Needless to say they bought me a new one when I tore it up. So far I am very happy with the truck. Good luck finding one you like.

 

Last January I bought an 01 Off-Road, 67000 miles, new Goodyear AT tires, not a scratch inside or out, with toolbox and nerf bars for $12,200... this is 3rd vehicle my family's bought from this guy in last 18months, worked pretty well with me

 

crap where are you guys from? i piad 18k for mine and thought it was a steal for this area. most of the 01's were still getting over 20k in early 06
