About to buy a RAM
Hey guys, im about to buy a dodge ram. Im looking for something between 96 and 01. Any suggestions for what i should look out for??? Any know defects these trucks have?? Some1 told me that transmission are not that good in these trucks? is it true?? Any help is appreciated. Thanx in advance.

being a new owner of a 96 myself, Ill tell you what I have noticed since owning that i wish i checked better. #1 The shocks, #2 the balljoints, #3 the ABS system (being fully functional and all)
Mostly I hear the trans is a weakpoint (overdrive namely), and check your sensors, make sure theres no manifold leaks, if there are have them fix it and check again.
