1996 1500 V6, reg cab with short box. no options at all except for alloy wheels. had 89000km on it, hard tonneau, new brakes and tires. also recently painted. paid $8000CDN 3 years ago. love it, and got a great deal
I bought mine 2.5 years ago for $15,900 with 68K miles without a scratch on it. I was happy with the price and the dealer also paid for the the intake gasket replacement.
I really like my truck and should keep it for a lot longer, but in the last couple weeks I've started to get the bug for a different truck. That's pretty normal for me as I usually don't keep my vehicles very long. I've owned almost 54 cars/trucks in the past 25 years!
I looked up the NADA value on mine today and was surprised a better price than I thought! Hopefully I'll start suffering from "sticker shock" when I start looking at other trucks and just keep what I have. Usually if I do or add some major mod to my current vehicle, the urge to sell it goes away for a little while.
But in the meantime; if somebody made me a decent offer for mine, I'll probably be shopping for my next truck!

I bought my 96 SLT SB,4x4 ,5.2 in great shape with 116K on the clock.Guy was hurting for money and I got it for 3,200.All I had to do was update the waterpump because it ran alittle hot.Fixed that and no other problems yet.Love my truck to death.
Well now I feel really good about the deal I made. I baught my 97 4X4 Q Cab SLT fully loaded from the original owner with 80,000 miles on it for $6300 cash. And its in perfect shape.
