Default Mopar Performance PCM

Wow!

High flow cat and 3inch Flowmaster exhaust...........sounds great but no noticeable power gain.

K&N filter charger........................................... .....couldn't hear or feel any difference.

Mopar Performance PCM......................................WOW! my 360 feels like a 360 now! Can't wait to open it up and see what the top end feels like.

94 Ram 2500 360 auto trans.

How much did the PCM set you back? Wow Im surprised you didnt notice any power gains with exhaust. I got way better throttle response with just a flowmaster muffer, and with stock cat still.

The PCM was $230 at Monicatti Chrystler online. I was skeptical after not much punch from the last two mods but the new pcm seems to take advantage of the air flow and exhaust. Also changes the shift points.

Thats odd, I was told when I bought mine that Chrysler discontinued making the performance PCM's for our trucks and possible other models. I still have it sitting on a shelf waiting to install, I'm not too thrilled about having to buy premium fuel for it.

I heard the same thing but they must have quite a few left. It's about a 10 minute install and you can switch back if you want. I don't drive the Dodge much so the extra .20 per gallon doesn't kill me.
Also the later models need some kind of dealer flash....not too sure what that's about.

I have a 99 so my PCM needs the dealer flash. I was going to just install it and see what happens. It might flash a code it might not but I can always take it to the dealer and have them flash it.

Invest in an OBDII code reader. Doesn't work on my 94 but comes in handy on all my other vehicles. Alows you to diagnose as well as reset any check engine lights.
