how many quarts for a spill and fill and filter change, for 01 5.9 auto trans ,stock pan ,4x4( i kinda did a seach but not good enough one i guess)i can get the +4 for $3.49 a quart at kragen,then i'll go get the good gasket from the stealership, thanks guys

5 or 6 quarts. The gasket on your trans is a reusable one. I change mine everytime I burn it (about 6 to 7 thousand).

i bought the good gasket from the dealership a year ago along with the fluid,(what a rip!)i have about 11,000 miles since then and i dont know if its the cold or what but it just seems a little off than before (as the feel of the shifting goes)

Might want to adjust the bands on it. also dirty batt connections cause shifting problems.
