Default Help with intake manifold

Does anybody know how difficult it is to install an intake manifold and how long the job will take? I'm thinking of purchasing a Magnum V8 Stage 2 OEM Intake Manifold from Hughes Engines. Any response would greatly be appreciated. Thanks!

It's not difficult, but time consuming if you've never done it before. I'm sure if you run a forum search you'll find more info. You'd be better off asking specific ? s, or pick up a haynes or chilton manual.

its real easy. takes a while. if you havent gotten that in-depth with taking your truck apart then i would plan on it being down for a day. keep your parts that you take off well organized. after you take off a part, slide the bolts back into the holes that they came from so that you dont confuse where they go.

dsertdog56, timwag2001, Tani1500- Thank you all for your responses and advice. I'll do more research on this and buy a Haynes manual. Once again thank you.

Dirty Dog- I'll definitely do that. Hopefully, I'll have everything done right before the New Year.

Plan on spending a weekend on it if it's your first time. I'm betting you'll get in there and want to clean up parts, inspects hoses, etc. That's what I would do if I were you. It's a good time for some preventative maintenance.

steve05ram360- Thanks! I'll do that.
VWandDodge- Thanks for your input, also. I'll definitively want to do some preventative maintenance while doing the job. I appreciate everybody's willingness to help and knowledgeable advice. This forum is great.
