still kind of confused about this, after its drained for the final time, then i replace the t-stat right? At that point shouldnt all of the coolant be out so I wouldn't have to worry about it spilling out of the radiator hose? Not sure what a t-stat looks like but can you describe a little more about that hole in it?

Oh yea and when its empty and you fill it up with cleaner again you put it in both the radiator and the reservoir tank?

yank the res tank and flush it separately. skip the hole it's no biggie. when you yank off the t-stat housing there will be coolant on top of the old stat that will spill, dont worry about that either, it's only 12~16 oz or so, whatever is in the hose that didnt get drained back int the radiator.

once your done flushing, then swap the t-stat.

someone around here had an idea about puting the asprin in the spring of the t-stat to keep it open at first to let the air out and that it'll dissolve after.
