My truck is basically stock except for the 180 stat and a k&n. I was reading a post about the cpk mod and it said: "Is your truck sluggish and generally will not spin the tires from a stoplight, even with a 360?" Well I have a 360 and I can't spin the tires at wot from a stop on dry pavement...does everybody elses ram with a 360 spin em from a stop at wot? I bought my truck used so thats what I thought it had for power...am I wrong? Any thoughts appreciated

 

I bought mine new and have never been able to burn 'em off the line. Thing accellerates just fine though. I've got a pretty bad pinging problem that shows up when the weather gets cold (oddly enough). It's fine in the summer ... I need to check a few things, I guess.

 

i couldnt break my tires at all unless i had my foot on the break at first. i couldnt tell you which mods were best because i didnt do one at a time. runs pretty good right now. i'll be getting a fastman and an msd setup when i get my taxes back. after that i'll get some new gears and i think it'll be running the way i want it.

all 360s should do that. its a powerfull motor . its like dodge made all that power and then put a skirt on it and called it sally.
it has so much potential that they dont want us to have

my 318 will turn em no problem

 

My Sport will smoke them till I let off, but then again I have a built tranny and a few mods.

 

My 96 ext cab with a 318 and 3.55 gears will burn the right rear tire just fine.
