well fellas, i took a shot at my hunch, $30 and 20 min later, my IAC is changed out and my truck runs again 
The old one i suspect was factory...and just turning 170k last night prolly told it to say good riddens to me. it failed in the extended position (closed), so no air would get through unless i was givin it gas.

glad your fixed. I had a Dodge Caravan once that wouldn't idle unless you layed you foot on the gas and used foot pressure to keep rpm up to 750-1000. Otherwise it run run fine. It was TPS.
so im not allll that fast.
