Default Broken Door Lock from Car Theif

Some low life broke in to my truck last night and completely mangled the door lock. I hear the door locks on Dodges are a piece of cake to break in to, so naturally I'm looking for a new improved replacement. I feel like if I simply replace the lock, I'm just setting up my self for another busted lock. In the mean time I'm relying on my alarm to scare them off.
Here is a pic. The door lock is now resting the recess of the door handle.

Anyone know a good, more secure aftermarket lock?

i know that on the 3rd gen rams alot of guys are installing a metal plate behind the door handles to prevent thieves from breaking in through the doors. im not sure if you can do that with the 2nd gen ram. might be something to look into.
