Default installed fastman

I installed my fastman 52mm a few hours ago, everything went smooth. Looks so different compared to my old one, all clean and shiny. Took it for a test drive and the first thing I noticed was the first shift from 1->2 occured at lower RPM than usual. And just about all of them did as a matter of fact, but usually I think the first one went over 2000 RPM's but this one shifted at around 1800 RPM. Not sure how that affected shift points but I think thats better right? Sounds better at least, doesn't rev really high and then jolt into next gear, nice and smooth. I think I could feel a little difference but I'll wait a few more miles before I make any conclusions. Hope I made the right choice to go with the 52mm. (Figures I install the TB after the semester ends = no more 20+ mile trips everyday lol). Here are some pics

EDIT: Oh yeah I checked the plenum again and looking straight down it was pretty much bone dry. I kept looking and the back of it (towards back of truck) had a coating about 1 cm wide all along the back wall like this ======= 1cm between those two lines. Is that bad? It was oil, no thin coating, but dark brown oil.

well if the oil was a thick layer like it was being drawn in then its leaking... here's a pic of mine, the running of oil was because the manifold was on end before I yanked the pan...

Did you mess with your TV when you installed it, cause that could account for the shifting.

TV = Throttle Valve cable. It's the kick-down cable for the transmission. Might need to be adjusted.

Is it easy to mess with it when putting in the new TB? I didn't stray from simple removal and installation

I don't know, but the procedure to adjust it is easier than it is laid out in the FSM. Should be about 1mm of play in it.
