had the same thing happen to me. The truck has 2 times the oil as normal.
Made the used car dealership pay to have the oil sensor replaced, problem still there, had them cjeck the intake screen fro clogs, they eventually determined that the engine itself was bad, spun bearing and metal everywhere in the block.
They split the cost of a new engine for my 99 ram, so i paid $2500 for a new engine to replace my old one that was at 152,000 Kms.
Im pretty happy..in the long run

I tell you what I really hope it isn't my engine, granted it has 94000 on it and if it was treated poorly may be the problem. This shall be determined I suppose.
