So is your CD player not working? Is the deck working fine? It is not unusual to have some wires that you dont hook up. Are all the wires on the harness for the CD player hooked up? What color are the wires that aren't hooked up? How did these wires attach to the stock radio?

When i put my cd player in i think i had the same problem. The deck workedfine but ijust wasnt getting sound. There is a solid blue wire that is for the factory amp. You have to run power to that wire to get the amp to turn on.

Yeah, one of those 2 wires is for your factory amp, the other wire is for your steering wheel controls if you have that on your factory deck. Make sure there is power to that factory amp, I beleive if you got a wiring harness for alpine-dodge facotry harness then there should be a wire to hook that blue one to. Its been about a year or better since I installed mine.

thats a problem with the cd player, not the wiring or harness.

Yeah I had this same problem. Those 2 wires don't hook up to anything atleast didn't when I installed mine. The problem on mine was I hadn't hooked up the blue wire for the remote turn on lead. Hook that up and try again. I don't have the Infinity system or atleast don't think I do as it didn't say it anywhere and people told me I should only have a factory amp with the Infinity system but mine has a factory amp although doesn't appear to have the Infinity system.
