I have a 2000 Dodge Ram Quad Cab with electric windows. The driver's side window sometimes works and sometimes does not. When the window is halfway I have to grab the window to assist the window to the full up position. The motor sounds weak when the window is moving up but sounds normal when the window moves to the down position. Can anyone help me with my symptons and if you think it is the window regulator, where can I find one other than the dealer?

 

Does sound like a weak regulator motor. But I have seen on some other vehicles that the window can get hung up on the rubber window track if it has a rip or worn spot in it. Jeep Liberty is notorious for that, never seen it on a Ram though.
