I have a 1998 1500 Ram 5.2L and it seems to drive fine but the idle just started to get rough on me. I had a check engine light come on shortly after the rough idles, heres wat i got, Cylinder 2 & 7 misfire and Random Multiple Cylinder misfire detected. ?????????????????? I thought maybee fouled spark plugs and its been driven 700+ miles in the past days. So i changed the spark plugs and cleared the codes. And im still getting the same thing, engine light came back on, and idles the same.

Help me here?? Im gonna check the wires in the morning. Any help would be appreitiated.

 

check your spark plug wires for damage. lift your hood when its dark out and look for a blue arcing from your wires. theres a tsb out for the wire routing of your truck that i guess can cause misfires. http://dodgeram.info/tsb/1998/18-48-98/18-48-98-v8.htm
