I have done some truely stupid things in my time so I am hardly the person to point fingers. However, judging the handling of a car (let alone a truck) by provoking a slideonpublic roads at > 100mph is simplyasking for it.Take it to the track because driving like this on public roads puts everyone elseat risk of your killing them.At least fill out your organ donor card. If you dont change your ways it isgoinig to be neededsoon.

dont care.

btw...im starting with handling so that going faster is safer
Great idea and one that Iadopted myself. Most of the mods on my truck are suspension and brake oriented and I really wish that others would consider the same. Seems that everyone wants to "Go Fast" and worry about the cornering and stopping later. Acceleration is fine but not having to slow down much for corners is cool too.

It tells me that either you're insane and/or fearless (not necessarily a bad thing) or your friend's a puss.

I learned that lesson with my old chevy. Too fast with bad brakes and horrible suspension = slid off the road one two many times. Besides, its more fun to be able to sustain your speed all the time, instead of having to put "unnessissary" strain on the driveline accelerating after a situation you need to slow down from.

What are the Bilstein part numbers for those shocks and where did
you get them from?

I'm going to do shocks on my Ram soon. Thanks.

How about the ride from these shocks, did it smooth out your ride after the install.

like you wouldnt believe. Doing the usuial test to see if you need shocks, pushing down on the bumper and letting go, counting the bounces. Before, 3ish; After, 0 bounces. theres this one pothole i always hit, and its baaad...but i hit it afterwards and i barely noticed it was there (compairitively)
