Firefighters/Emt's Where do you have your lights
We don't have a site. They paid some stupid girl to do it then she screwed us over. So then we paid firehousesolutions.com to do us one but they can't get the password off the girl to use our url. So because of that heres pics of our trucks and Ambulances.

Squad 28 82 Chevy Which is suppose to be leaving and getting replaced with a Tac. We want a Tac pretty much so I can drive it and get a truck out during the day when we don't have a driver for the big trucks.

Alright this doesnt have much to do with light placement but I was reading through this thread and started to wonder. How come you EMT and Firefighters have these lights on your personal trucks? Around here EMT are in ambulances and firefighters are in city owned fire trucks. If someone could fill me in I would feel a bit smarter.

Volunteer here also, we get our personal vehicles state certified, I can either respond direct to the scene (EMS) , or I can go to the sub-station and gear up for fire, all depends what the call is, but totally legal regardless how you get there.
Kinda nice blowing by Troopers and Sheriffs and having them move to the right, but with that you still have to be driving reasonable to the road conditions. Have never had an issue to date.
I urge everyone who lives in the country to get involved in emergency services, it takes time and some skill and knowledge, but people really do appreciate when you show to help them, thats what its all about.

yeah wesometimes get guys that drive stupid that get told about it too. I drive fast but never have been yelled at for it. I like to push the rules
technically my lights are illegal here in PA not suppose to have dash, grill,or head and tail strobes as a blue lighter not suppose to run clears either. I havethem all. And your lights are suppose to be on the roof and be visible 360 degrees. The cheif told me he don't care what i have but if i get caught its on me I've never had aproblemthough

Knock on wood but we have never had any problems with accidents, most people know the limitations to their vehicles and themselves. You aren't much help If you don't get there yourself.
As for the underage of 18 people, nothing says you can't follow them on runs, keep your distance, but still check out whats going on.

My buddies a volunter fire fighter. He's got strobes, sirens, and if all that fails he's got a freakin' train horn. Not the fake kind, he got it off a real train. Crazy Redneck!
