How about some opinions !!!!!!!
Have a few bucks to spend and am looking for opinions on what to do to my truck. I use the truck as a daily driver and to pull a 7800 pound fifth wheel camper. I don't want to lift it because it won't fit my garage if I did. I also want to maintain the LT265/75R16Load Range E tires size. Here's what I got and what I plan but would like some ideas from you all.
Performance 360 ( less than 8000 miles )
- high lift cam ( .490 )
- ported/polished heads
- stainless steel valves
- true double roller timing chain and steel gears
- ARP bolts throughout
Modified kegger intake manifold
APS Plenum plate
Fastman 50mm throttle body
Accel ignition coil
K&N Cold Air Intake System
Phoenix Transmission heavy duty torque converter
aftermarket high volume transmission cooler
Flowmaster II Single pipe cat-back exhaust system ( 6 months old )
New OEM catalytic converter ( 6 months old )
new Bosch Oxygen Sensors
Autolite 3923's
Harland Sharp 1.6 roller rockers
Hypertech PP III
Performance slotted front brake rotors
Performance ceramic front brake pads
Performance Rear brake shoes
Oversize rear brake cylinders for improved braking
Westin grill/brush guard
Westin bedrails and sidebars
Truxedo tonneau cover
Alteeza taillights
Reese fifth wheel hitch
Reese Heavy trailer hitch
Custom Coil over shocks ( 4 )
3-gauge pillar pod w/oil temp - tran temp - rear differential temp gauges
New indash CD player/radio
New Mopar Performance Flex Plate
3.55 factory gears
Here is what I think I'll be doing but am always open to suggestions:
- Transmission overhaulwith Heavy duty components
- Edelbrock Ceramic Shorty Headers
- Rear Sway bar
Wanting suggestions for style and manufacturer:
- Rear Suspension overload system
- Complete suspension bushing overhaul with performance bushings
- Upgrade to 3.90 or 4.10 gears - front & back
- 6 inch round off-road lights with rock guard for Grill Guard
Thanks.

How about a Shift Kit for that rebuilt transmission?
I hear Transgo just came out with a new shift kit about 6 months ago. And it is suppose to be totally awesome for pulling/hauling. I don't believe it is going to give better MPG, but suppose to drastically improve the life of the transmission...
PS I am having one put in today.. getting ready to work in it at this moment..
