The hinge section on my cupholder was "broken" when I bought the truck 3 years ago. There was a crack in the hinge assembly and the cup holder would flop all the way to the floor whenever a cup was placed in it. I called the dealer and got sticker shock when I priced a new cup holder for over $100!

So being the cheap (and usually resourceful) bastard that I am, I simply installed some beaded chain with eyelets on each end and screwed it all in place. It all folds up when not in-use just like it's supposed to and I never have to worry about any drink being too heavy for it.

Why buy a new one? Have you priced what a new one costs? I've even watched these things go for nearly $75 on Ebay!!!! [sm=insomnia.gif]

I was lucky and able to get the material from work for free, but the whole investment would have cost less than $5 at any hardware store.

Dunno, is this the kind you need:

97 Dodge Ram dash cup holder

If so, I would keep looking on ebay for a 'Buy Now' item.
Sooner or later, one will pop around at the right price.
I just bought the OEM radio cassette for $40 w/ shipping, so just keep looking and check back often.

Also as a general rule, '94 - '02 Dodge Ram 1500 / 2500 / 3500

ORIGINAL: timwag2001

i need the infinity door speaker too.
I just replaced my Infinity 6x9 door speakers last weekend because one was blown and I replaced them with some Pioneers that I bought at Best Buy.

But I kept the othergoodInfinity speaker(minus the amp). It issitting on a shelf and probably will only collect dust and not get used again.

PM me if you're interested
