If you are looking for a set I have a brand new setstill in the box, never used I am looking to get rid of, they are purple and made by RJS Racing. I ran the same ones in my original rock crawler, these were bought for the new one we were building but I have decided to give it up. Let me know if your intersted.

If you're thinking about putting some in your truck, there's a couple things you should know (if you don't already):

(note: rules/laws may have changed)

They are NOT street legal.
They are dated, and may not be track legal 2 years (possibly 5?) after MANUFACTURING date.
Some say they are unsafe without racing seats, and possibly a roll cage.

It's possible to get a ticket for 'no seatbelt', even if you're wearing a (not street legal) 5 point harness. (if in a state with seatbelt law)

Do what you want to. You may want to look into the rules/laws further. I'm only mentioning these things in case you (or anyone reading)were not aware of them.

i want them but i dont think theyre legal here. i think theyre supposed to be attached to the roll cage. i cant see how they could be considered more unsafe than stock belts

Oh I know this. I want it namely for show, and still keep the 3pt belts in there. I dont want to have to strap up like gettin in a fighter every time I step in the truck.

first of all, the seatbelt law is a federal law. i had a set in my chevelle with the summit racing seats and they were the floor mounted belts, i havent put the cage in it. i havebeen stoped and never hadany problems. i would not run these with out a seatequipped for them. that could be more dangerous in an accident. if your using for show, tuck them in so they look nice for shows, dont bother bolting if there not going to get any real use. less drilling to do.

I have never had an issue when I ran the original setin my Jeep for 5 years. They are 100 times safer than stock, I can attest to that after caterpolting my Jeep 60' onto the top of the cage (thank god it wasnt the stock cage) After the accident I ordered these for the new rig we "were" building.
